Auctioneer

Dave Kinleyside, an ex - Zimbabwean,started his Auctioneering career in 1970 in the town of Bulawayo.He has been involved in the auctioneering of vehicles, machinery, fixed properties and cattle for over 40 years.

Knight Bros was the first company Dave was employed at as an auctioneer. Auctions were held twice weekly where bidders had the opportunity to bid on vehicles, machinery and fixed properties.

Knight Bros also had a lucrative cattle division with sale pens in a number of farming districts. Cattle were also sold at Internal Affairs Sale Pens on behalf of the local populace.

In 1984 Dave continued his Auctioneering career in Cape Town with a large firm of auctioneers. By 1988, Dave had left the employ of this firm of auctioneers and started a partnership.

Sales were conducted on behalf of finance houses, attorneys, liquidators and the general public in auction rooms. Auctions were also held at client premises on a national level.

In 1998 Dave decided to go solo and started Dave Kinleyside Auctioneers.
Auctions are held weekly at the auction rooms in Epping Industria 2, as well as at client premises.

Auctions are conducted on behalf of Liquidators, Banks and the General Public, as well as on behalf of Trustees of Deceased and Insolvent Estates.

Dave Kinleyside Auctioneers are sellers of fixed property, machinery, vehicles, antiques, furniture, collectables and jewellery.

Appraiser

In 1987 Dave was appointed as an Appraiser. For more than 20 years,
Dave has done Appraisals throughout South Africa for Commercial Banks, various Liquidators, Trust Companies and Firms of Attorneys.

These appraisals include repossessions, deceased estates, and liquidations. Bank appraisals are for finance purposes and repossessions.

The appraisals include:
- Light and heavy commercial vehicles
- Earth moving, industrial and agricultural equipment
- Houses, farms and industrial properties
- Restaurant and boutique hotels
- Small and large moveable assets
